• Weekend excursion, choose one of the three options:

• Option A. Tortuguero National Park includes: transportation, bilingual tour guide, boat transfers, welcome cocktail, one night lodging, 2 breakfasts, 2 lunches, 1 dinner, tour to the National Park and tour to the Tortuguero town.

• Option B. Hermosa and Jaco beach area includes: transportation, canopy tour, one night lodging and one breakfast.

• Option C. Arenal Volcano area includes: transportation, bilingual tour guide during first day, hiking at 1968 Trail, one lunch, hot springs entrance fee, one dinner, one night lodging and one breakfast.

• Shopping tour to Sarchí: artisanal town with public bus, include tour guide only

Itinerary

Week 1
Saturday

1. Arrive to Juan Santamaria Int’l Airport, San José, Costa Rica
2. Transport to “Tico” host family’s house or villa in Grecia.

Sunday

1. 8:00 am. Excursion to Poás Volcano and La Paz Waterfall Gardens lunch included.

Monday

1. Morning: 7:30 am. Placement test
2. Initial orientation to the overall program
3. Spanish classes
4. Afternoon: Walking tour of Grecia, visit the market and most important places around town.
5. Night: Homework and free time

Tuesday

1. Morning: 8:00 am. to 12:00 pm. Spanish classes
2. Night: Homework and free time

Wednesday

1. Morning: 8:00 am. to 12:00 pm. Spanish classes
2. Night: Homework and free time

Thursday

1. Morning: 8:00 am. to 12:00 pm. Spanish classes
2. Afternoon: Dance class. Styles: salsa, merengue and cumbia!
3. Night: Homework and free time

Friday

1. Morning: 8:00 am. to 12:00 pm. Spanish classes
2. Night: Homework and free time

Saturday-Sunday
Option A. Weekend excursion to Tortuguero National Park
